Hey Kids and Kids at heart!

Welcome to Different Isn’t Bad Christmas countdown.

I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving and all the turkey and pie.

Now we are onto some exciting stories

In the next four episodes Miss Robin will bring you stories that will get you and your loved ones into the Christmas spirit.

Today’s story is very special and is dedicated to Eli Shultz who will never be forgotten and is forever loved by his family and friends. Mooseltoe was one of Eli’s favorite Christmas stories when he was a little boy. His mama read it to him all the time.

It was written by Margie Palatini, an Italian author with a funny imagination.

I can see why Eli liked it!

It’s all about a moose who wants to make Christmas the most perfectly perfect day around but forgets something important in the process.

So today as we start our Christmas countdown Remember it’s not about making everything perfectly perfect. In fact, it’s ok to do something different. Listen in as Father Moose does just that!

Now onto our story.

Here we go!

So now it’s your turn, kids. Pause the podcast and discuss the questions with someone you love and trust

  1. What were some of the things Father Moose did to try and make his Christmas perfectly perfect?
  2. What was missing in the corner of the room that Junior noticed?
  3. What did the family hang from Moose’s antlers?
  4. Have you or your family ever done something silly like Mooseltoe did? What?

Thank you for giving the gift of your time to me. Miss Robin is full of joy, especially during the Christmas season. She likes decorating her house with lights and putting up snowmen in the yard.

She loves the smell of sugar cookies baking in the oven. And the feel of shiny wrapping paper as it covers the gifts under her tree.  But most of all she loves reading to children far and near.

Stubby the Cat loves Christmas too. Do you think Miss Robin should wrap his tail in tinsel?

I think Stubby would like that. I bet we could find a bright red nose and some antlers too. Stubby could join Santa’s reindeer team. Wouldn’t that be fun to see?

If you haven’t met Stubby the Cat go back and listen to episodes 1-11. You will meet him and all his friends and families.

Stubby is different but Miss Robin thinks he is perfectly perfect just —-like —–you!!

As always, your loved ones can find Miss Robin in lots of places. On Instagram, Facebook and at my special place www.robinmarie.org.

Can’t wait to hear from you.

Merry Christmas!!

I praise you God because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

PSALM 139: 14-16
