“I am but a fragile clay pot that contains a great treasure.”  and yet some days I struggle to believe this truth.

It is then that God whispers in my ear, “I have placed my spirit inside your broken pot. Allow his light to shine through the cracks. It is then Jesus’ love will shine through you to seen far and wide in a world full of darkness.”

“In this broken world, the only difference between believers and nonbelievers is the presence of God,” – Chad Moore

YES!!! This IS the difference!

I can attend church, read my Bible and serve people BUT that does not make me a better person. I am no better than any other broken pot in this world EXCEPT  for this one fact:

I am a willing container belonging to a Master who heals the broken hearted and gives grace to His children. Even when they fall and break time after time, He fills the broken cracks with His love and forgiveness! That’s the GOOD NEW of the gospel!

With this assurance, I can now fill my humble broken clay pot with His Spirit every day, leaving me FREE to spill out a sweet spirit into the lives of others!

“Thank you, Lord. You have given me the right to share out of my brokenness  because you sent your son to be broken for me.”

My prayer for my fellow  believers:

“May Gods goodness, mercy and grace fill your broken clay pots today and every day and may you spill out into this broken, hurting world as a cool drink of His refreshing love”

And for those who don’t believe. There is a Master Potter waiting to put His hands on your cracked pots.  You do not need to be enough. He is ENOUGH for you.

2 Corinthians 4:7 NIV

We now have this light shining in our hearts. But we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear our great power is from God, not from ourselves.
